Even in Fairfax. One of the best school districts in the country, Fairfax County, Va., is now considering creating a virtual high school. One problem, the superintendent admits, “It’s hard to do marching band online.” So the district expects that most students would use the virtual school to take a course or two—at least at first. (Washington Post)
